Hello everyone!
This month, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the FinTech $print at Huston-Tillotson University, an event sponsored by the Interledger Foundation and hosted in collaboration with Bowie State University.
It was inspiring to connect with students from Bowie State University to explore how open payment technologies can help address financial access challenges faced by the underbanked and unbanked. Our group brainstormed and designed ILP-enabled solutions that make digital transactions more inclusive, efficient, and accessible.
Working alongside other talented students, I gained hands-on experience in design thinking and financial innovationβand saw firsthand how collaboration can turn big ideas into practical solutions. Most importantly, with my computer science background, I learned to put emphasis on empathy for the users, which will greatly influence anything I build.
A huge thank-you to the Interledger Foundation team and the amazing professors from Bowie State University, who guided us through this wonderful learning experience. Iβm excited to continue learning, contributing, and helping build toward digital financial inclusion across HBCUs and beyond!
