Harbour has created an alpha-version of a Creative Commons license request form, with fields for COIL payment pointers and content-owner-specified attribution.
We have automated the export of this form's data into its own GCP project.
Additionally, we have an alpha version of a live-RSS feed, where all newly acquired content will be published, along with payment pointer data, attribution, etc.
Progress on objectives
We have made great progress on the form creation and data-pipeline side of our project. The core components are working well and we are nearing the UI/design phase of the project.
- Created CC license forms, with support for payment pointer info
- Created an automated export of publically available data generated from the forms mentioned above
- Created an RSS feed of incoming license data
Communications and marketing
- We have posted on LinkedIn and shared GwF with our customers and business contacts.
Next, we are going to create a website to display this RSS feed of real-time licensed content and its associated data, along with a beautiful data visualization.
This will require building a nicely designed, publically available website, as well as a data-vis display.
What community support would benefit your project?
Once we have launched our publically available tool, it will be very helpful for the community to share the news of its existence and to use the CC/COIL-content acquisition licenses in their own day-to-day work.
We are looking forward to making it incredibly fast and easy for creators to collaborate using CC licenses and COIL, while helping to expand the CC community!
