Black Web Fest is starting the year off strong with new programming. Part of our work is to increase diversity and inclusion in emerging media, entertainment and technology. We opened up our call for submissions for our 2023 festival (taking place in April). We are also hosting a Black History Month Game Jam for early career creators. Here's more info about both, please share with your network. We're also looking for sponsors. Thanks!!!
Black History Month Game Jam (New York)
Join us for our Black History Month game jam. We'll be celebrating by hosting a weekend-long event for underrepresented creators to come together and learn how to develop video games.
This event provides early-career and aspiring game developers with an opportunity to build a playable game, learn from industry experts and connect with their community. We will provide free food throughout the event and will be giving away prizes.
Creators of all skill levels are welcome to join.
This is an in-person event!
