Interledger integration at Chimoney
- Blog: Building the Future of Cross-Border Remittances with Chimoney and Interledger
- Phylis Atieno, Marketing and DevRel Manager presented on Interledger integration at Chimoney
- Integrate Interledger to Chimoney Wallets: Prototype — ILF Grant Progress Report
- There was a demo of using an Interledger wallet address to pay in an e-commerce situation with a wallet provided by Chimoney using Open Payments API integration
- Faheed Alli-Balogun presented a demo of Chimoney wallet app. It featured multi-currency accounts. It has the ability to generate a QR code of a wallet address and to scan them for easy sharing. It can also pay people using email, SMS, other messaging apps.

- MoMo cashout to Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast
- Direct local bank cashout to: Peru, Mexico
- Phylis: Plans to add more cashout options to Mobile Money accounts in Q1
- Interledger peering plans with Fynbos, Snake Nation in progress
- July plans: external audits, general availability expansion, "Interledger Infrastructure as a Service" to enable companies to integrate somehow
