Hi everyone! I'm Jory, and I'm just really happy to be here :D
I had been watching WebM from afar via the W3C, and because people I deeply respect have been championing the vision and technology. Then, my pal Dees had me test it out on my own blog - I was blown away by how simple yet powerful WebM is, and became even more excited for the ideals and potential inherent in this technology. Finally, I was lucky to be invited to judge the last cohort of Grant for the Web applications. There were so many amazing ideas and I can't wait to see the results.
I'm here to continue the conversation around these ideas, explore my own with WebM, and connect with other technologists. I run a consulting company, Working Directory, wherein I help open source and open standards communities build better systems to create human interoperability. If you're interested in web standards or open source management, say hello - I'm an open book!
