Erica,

Thanks for bring patient with this issue.

We are going to release an update for the issue, but in the mean time what you can do is this:

Go to Appearance > Customize
Click on Coil Web Monetization > Options
Check OFF Show a donation bar on posts that are monetized and public.
Click Publish
Check ON Show a donation bar on posts that are monetized and public.
Click Publish

That should solve the issue of the popup no displaying. It should default to ON but it seems that's broken at the moment.

Let me know if this works.

As a head's up, Marc, I also discovered that for some reason when the Coil Plugin is enabled on our StoryToGo Classroom site, it is causing an issue with LearnDash, the LMS plugin on the site, making it impossible to add new content to Lessons or edit previously built lessons. As I need to learning management system working on that site as its the whole purpose to the site, I have temporary disabled the Coil Plugin. I am hoping I can later find a fix for this, as web monetization offers a great solution for funding the open educational content that we produce.

Thanks, we'll test this out.

Is it breaking in the edit screen? Is there a chance you could see if it's throwing an error by opening up the developer console?

It should show bunch of errors in red when editing a Lesson.

Yes, an error is showing in the developer's console.

Attaching a screenshot of what I am getting in the lesson creation area when the Coil plugin is activated on the site.

I have a LearnDash license for a few sites, so if you want me to set LearnDash up on the temporary site that I created for your team to experiment with StudioPress and the Coil plugin, I can do that. Just let me know.

Awesome. Thanks Marc. Both Paul and Nizar have been most helpful. I also sent Paul at test site with a bunch of the StudioPress themes to experiment with, in case that is helpful.
