The MozFest team has just announced an extension to their Call for Proposals. The new deadline is November 30.
For those of you unfamiliar with MozFest, it's a gathering for activists in diverse global movements fighting for a more humane digital world. The programming is radically inclusive – people from all over the world can submit a session idea on topics like online privacy, misinformation and harassment, building open-source tools, supporting Trustworthy AI innovations, and more.
Read Mozilla's blog on why MozFest 2021 is such a vital time for the festival.
Grant for the Web will be one of the festival's official sponsors in 2021. Our team will be attending the festival virtually and facilitating activities focused on Web Monetization. Our 2019 sessions were instrumental in guiding the design of early Grant for the Web initiatives.
MozFest kicks off on March 8th, 2021 with two weeks of virtual programming including interactive sessions, films, talks, round-tables, hack-a-thons, exhibits, and socials. Tickets will be available in January but be sure to submit your MozFest session idea today!
