Hello everyone, I'm Alex Lakatos, but most people around the world call me "Laka". I'm the new Tech Lead joining the Interledger Foundation. And I'm super excited about that!
I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and get to know the Web Monetization community a little bit better.
With a background in Open Web technologies and FinTech, the idea of helping make payments on the web as easy as the internet was extremely appealing. So I'm super excited to join the Interledger world, helping build an open and inclusive payments network that puts humanity first!
Moving forward, I'm going to head the Steering Committee for the Interledger Protocol and try to help standardize the specs for Web Monetization, Payment Pointers and Web Payments.
It's my second week here at the Interledger Foundation, and I'm still finding my way around the ecosystem. And the documentation. As the people who've worked with Web Monetization and the Interledger Protocol recently, I'd love to hear your feedback about the current gaps in the ecosystem, or the docs, or anything really that you'd like to share.
You can reach me on the Interledger Slack, Twitter or even better yet, you can leave your feedback in the comments section below!

I really wish there was a more open community channel for the Interledger community, rather than Slack. Did you ever consider using Matrix, perhaps (which comes with advanced Slack bridging if you wanted to keep the Slack instance around), or perhaps RocketChat or Mattermost?
Thanks for the feedback, Flaki! I'll look into bridging the current Slack with something more open.
Woot! So nice to see you being involved with Interledger, hope we can work on something together in the future! :D
Definitely! I was already keeping an eye on js13kgames.com, we can talk some more after that's done!
Sure! Btw, the Web Monetization category for js13kGames 2021 should be announced in the next few days.
Bine ai venit!
Thank you for puns.dev...
