Salary ranges vary among postings and employers. Two interesting themes emerge from the postings - remote and global opportunities & an emphasis on open-source and community development.

There is still a demand for IT professionals, but other opportunities exist for those interested in global community development for open payments, open protocols, and digital financial inclusion. Employers appreciate remote work for great flexibility and an expanded global talent pool. Employees and community members can collaborate using technologies such as Interledger Slack. Potential employees and employers can ask questions, contribute to open-source projects, and share ideas.
Open payments offer diverse opportunities for individuals with varying experience levels and skill sets.
