Join our session Voices of Financial [In] Exclusion at this years Mozfest

Today we are excited to announce that the Interledger Foundation and Here to Support will convene a fireside chat at the Mozhouse Festival in Amsterdam. On June, 20th at 9.30 PST/ 15.30 CEST

From a different starting point both organizations are connected through its mission and goals.

The Interledger Foundation (ILF) and its community are building pathways to financial access and opportunity across the world. We support people and ideas that use the Interledger Protocol (ILP) to contribute to an open payments network built on equitable access through the internet.
In continued service of our mission, we have partnered with Here to Support for Mozhouse 2023.

Here to Support collaborates with refugees in limbo and various organizations in the fields of education and knowledge, artistic projects and lobby and advocacy. Here to Support strives to form collaborations founded in equity in a society that is characterized by structural inequality.
We work from the core belief that an open and inclusive society will only exist if everyone in the society is acknowledged, has equal rights and if all voices are heard. One of the main issues people without documents face is financial exclusion, a topic that has been one of the main focuses of Here to Support.

The panel conversation centers around the experiences of the digital finance system for marginalized and excluded groups, specifically undocumented persons. The audience will be invited on a journey of reflection considering the barriers undocumented persons experience. Alongside the contemporary human condition relating to societal inequity in their direct surroundings in the Netherlands and their experiences throughout Europe.
