I am thrilled to introduce you to one last micro grantee who will be joining us at the 2023 Interledger Summit to learn more about the Interledger Protocol, Foundation, and our broader community; and discover the work we are doing to build new pathways to financial equity and inclusion. Please join me in welcoming Henry Jake Foreman who will be joining us to learn more about the Interledger ecosystem for his work with Karuna Colectiva, the National Congress of American Indians' Indian Country Digital Trainers program, and New Mexico Community Capital.
Jake Foreman M.C.R.P. (Absentee Shawnee) is a specialist in facilitation, development, and implementation of engaging learning experiences for students of all ages and has created a variety of curricula around education, health, and entrepreneurship. He is the founder of Karuna Colectiva, a social enterprise that delivers the principles of engagement, innovation, and application through mentorship, bicycling, and cooperative economics. He is also the Program Director of New Mexico Community Capital, and manages the Business & Marketing Essentials course that is designed to help build a solid foundation to form and grow business ideas with a personal financial plan for success. Since 2019, Jake has been a part of the Indian Country Digital Trainers program with the National Congress of American Indians, and has recently become the first Grow With Google Digital Coach for Indigenous Communities. Indigenous methodologies and epistemologies guide his research approaches to working with youth trainers and communities to promote the health of our biosphere.
Jake's interests in approaching the 2023 Interledger Summit are around Digital Inclusion, Equity, Financial Inclusion, Creator Economy, Web Monetization, Open Payments, Standardization, Partnering for Growth, Leveraging Donors and Investors, and Interoperability.
He is hoping to meet developers, creatives, and entrepreneurs.
